Combat in Smashball is different from a lot of other games.
The biggest difference is how players suffer damage. Traditionally, you take damage that reduces your health, and when it reaches zero, you die. We've split that into three components:
You can't *directly* harm a player with force, but you can suffer shock damage from hitting the ground too fast. We've seen people get slammed into the ground hard enough to get knocked out. It's hilarious.
There are two primary ways to hurt someone.
