This light weapon does not cause a lot of damage to its victim, but instead leaves a persistent blob of goo that slows them down. It can also be used to spray the landscape with goo, and enemies that touch the goo pick it up just as if it were shot at them.
Offensive Tactics
The goo gun is a lot of fun to spray. There are a couple different ways you can use it:
- Direct Spray. Aim at your target and try to hose them down. Every blob that hits will attach to them, and slow them down.
- Area Effect. Liberally coat the walls and floor of critical choke points with your goo gun. While the blobs won't stick around forever, it's worth it if even one of them gets stuck on an enemy who is just passing by. "Look what I stepped in!"
Defensive Tactics
Be wary of the colored blobs littering the landscape. There is currently no visual distinction between friendly and enemy blobs. Friendly blobs won't hurt or stick to you, but you won't be able to tell which is which. A hint: if the enemy team has no forwards, those goo balls are probably friendly.
