And I don't mean 'Missionary' or 'Cowgirl'! I mean, do you want to be the big bruiser, or the swift scoring machine? Find the one you like to play, and get good at it!
There are four different positions that you can play in Smashball. Each one has different ballhandling, movement, and combat characteristics. Some positions are more suitable for certain roles than others: for instance, if you try to score as a Fullback, you're going to have a hard time of it.
A team can consist of any mix of Forwards, Halfbacks, and Fullbacks, but they may only have one Goalie on the field at a time.
The four positions are:

ForwardFast Ball-mover
Extremely fast, with decent ball-handling skills and the best shot speed. |

Medium speed, with great hands and decent combat ability. |

Slow, with poor ball-handling, but great weapons and charge attack. |
